What classifies as defective product ?

Defective products are those that do not meet the quality standards set by the manufacturer.

We define defective products as those that exhibit torn or weaving defects in the fabric, have big patches or spots, or display excessive color variation within a product. These are the only issues that we consider to be defects and will offer refunds or exchanges accordingly.

However, we understand that some variations in color and printing may occur due to digital limitations or photography techniques. Please note that we do not consider these issues to be defects. Similarly, we do not consider color variations from block to block or in dupattas in comparison to tops or salwars to be defects.

Furthermore, some colors may have issues in photography, such as pink (rani), firozi, magenta, and all colors that use similar dyes during production. Such colors may not show the true colors of the product, and color variation may also occur due to differences in the screens of various devices.

Lastly, irregular or misprinting and color variations due to hand dyes of the product will not be considered defects. We hope this clarifies our definition of defective products and our policies regarding refunds and exchanges.

Washing instructions

How should I wash my Hand Block Printed fabrics?

We recommend hand washing Hand Block Printed fabrics separately in cold water using Eezee or a similar non-ionic detergent. This will help to preserve freshness of the fabric.

What is the best way to wash indigo dyed/printed fabrics?

For the first 2-3 washes of fabrics, we suggest soaking them in warm water with rock salt for 20-30 minutes before washing them in regular water. This will help to set the colors and reduce the risk of color bleeding. Please note that indigo colors may still bleed for the first 3-4 washes, so it's important to wash them separately during this time.

Please note: This process is only applicable for indigo. It may havev negative effect on other natural dyes.

What are the recommended washing instructions for the product?

To ensure the longevity and freshness of the product, we recommend following these instructions:

  • Use a non-ionic detergent such as Eezze or Gental.
  • Use a mild wash or hand wash for best results.
  • Dry the product in shade.

Please note that failure to follow these instructions may result in the product fading quickly and losing its original vibrancy. To avoid this, we strongly recommend adhering to the above guidelines.
